Half Marathon: July 17th, 2010, 6:00A.M. - Starts at Ruby's Inn, Bryce - Ends in Cannonville. The 1/2 Marathon starts at Ruby's Inn on Hwy 63, Bryce (elev. 7,652 ft.). The course heads north, then turns east onto National Scenic Byway 12. The route descends through Bryce Canyon National Park, through the town of Tropic, and ends in Cannonville(elev. 5,800ft.). Runners must finish the 1/2 Marathon by 9:00AM. $3,000 cash prize will be divided between the top 5 overall male and female 1/2 Marathon runners. Shuttles will be available.
Registration for the 1/2 Marathon is $35 until July 3, 2010, and $40 thereafter.
5K Run/Walk: July 17th, 2010, 6:30A.M. - 5K Run/Walk in Cannonville. If you're not interested in competing for cash, or would simply rather endure a shorter distance, start at 6:30 AM in Cannonville for the 5K Run/Walk. The 5K is an out and back in Cannonville on the road to Kodachrome State Park.
Registration for the 5K Run/Walk is $20 until July 3, 2010, and $25 thereafter.
The dinner is provided for runners, families and friends by the Scenic Byway 12 Committee Volunteers. Dinner is $10 for adults and big kids; $5 for kids age 12 and under. The menu includes Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce, Bread, Green Salad, choice of salad dressing, lemonade, Gatorade and water.
The Scenic Byway 12 Committee is a partnership of local governments, citizens, businesses, and public land management agencies. The committee conducts educational and charitable activities on Scenic Byway 12 All-American Road.

The Bryce Canyon Half Marathon and 5k offer periodic water stops along each route. The Half Marathon will offer EIGHT Water/Aid Stations along the route. The water stations offer water and Powerade only. Water stations are placed at the following points of the Half Marathon course:
At the FINISH LINE. The Runners Corral will offer fruit, bagels, water. If you feel you will need more water/snacks along the route, please bring your own.
The 5K Run/Walk begins and ends at the Cannonville Park. Water/Aid station is at the turn around point on the course at 2.5 k
